Your Jet-free Sunday late games discussion thread
A relaxing Sunday is in store after the Jets destroyed the Bills at home on Thursday night. So, let's enjoy today's games.
Here's some of the main things to watch out for in the 4pm kickoffs and later tonight:
More NFC showcases
There's only one AFC team in action during the three 4:00pm kickoffs, but 3-4 Washington desperately needs a win at 5-2 Seattle in what looks like it could be one of the better games on the day.
Another all-NFC clash pits another three-win team (Arizona) against the winless 49ers. This would be interesting if they gave Jimmy Garoppolo his debut - especially since Garoppolo beat the Cardinals in last year's season opener. However, it looks like he'll just be the back-up. In fact, some reports this morning indicate the 49ers might intend to tag-and-trade Garoppolo during the offseason rather than invest in him as their long-term starter.
AFC teams in action
The 6-2 Chiefs are the only AFC team playing at 4:00 pm and their trip to 4-3 Dallas is probably the game of the week, especially with Ezekiel Elliott back in the mix for Dallas...unless he gets suspended again between now and kick-off.
There's an all-AFC match-up on Sunday night football though, as the Raiders and Dolphins are each trying to bounce back from surprising blowout losses. How will the Dolphins fare without Jay Ajayi?
