Your Jet-free Sunday early games thread
With the Jets having already played, we can enjoy today's action from around the NFL.
Here's what to watch out for in the early games:
- Tampa Bay at Detroit
The surprising Bucs could get their fourth straight win and move to 7-7 on the year. It's a shame the NFC is so strong, otherwise they'd be right in the playoff mix. Expect Jameis Winston to shake off his hand injury and keep polishing his extension credentials.
- Philadelphia at Washington
The Eagles are tied for the NFC East lead but forget all that...are we gonna see Uncle Josh play some wide receiver?
- Chicago at Green Bay
Green Bay remains a game ahead of the Vikings so they need this win. The Bears, written off by many, can move to 8-6 with what would be their fourth win in a row.
- New England at Cincinnati
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
- Houston at Tennessee
A big game here, with two 8-5 teams tied atop the AFC South. Is this the week where Ryan Tannehill regresses back to the mean?
- Seattle at Carolina
A big game for the Seahawks as they are just a game back of the 49ers in the NFC West. The 5-8 Panthers have lost five in a row.
- Denver at Kansas City
Drew Lock has looked surprisingly good for Denver so far, but the 9-4 Chiefs have already clinched the divisional title and are gearing up for the postseason.
- Miami at New York Giants
This game means little other than for draft positioning. In that regard, maybe this is one of those rare occasions Jets fans would prefer to see Miami win.
