What happened at practice on Monday?
Here were some of the main happenings as the Jets continued their 2017 training camp with a practice on Monday:
- Morris Claiborne was back after missing Sunday's practice for personal reasons.
- Rookie receivers Chad Hansen and ArDarius Stewart were in pads and took part in team drills for the first time.
- Christian Hackenberg was intercepted by Julian Stanford in an early one-on-one drill, but reportedly bounced back with some nice throws later on and it sounded like he outperformed the other two quarterbacks overall. Josh McCown was "dreadful" according to Connor Hughes.
- Robby Anderson sat out some drills while being looked at by a trainer and Matt Forté limped off with a trainer and missed team drills.
- Dylan Donahue got some first team reps on defense.
- The defensive line, Lucky Whitehead, Juston Burris and Jordan Leggett were among other players who impressed.
Stick around because in due course we'll let you know if anyone said anything important after practice.
