Updates from Wednesday's minicamp practice
Media was on hand today to watch the Jets' second mandatory minicamp practice. Here's some of the key events:
- Sam Darnold had an impressive day with touchdowns to Jordan Leggett and Jermaine Kearse;
- Teddy Bridgewater wasn't as good as yesterday, losing the ball on a strip sack and throwing three interceptions;
- Josh McCown continues to get the most first team reps and had an efficient day;
- Chad Hansen, Jeremy Clark and Parry Nickerson were among those singled out for praise by the media;
- Jamal Adams talked a lot of trash during what was called a sloppy practice by the offense with plenty of penalties;
- Rookie defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd and veteran guard Brian Winters almost came to blows on the field;
- Robby Anderson told the media he doesn't expect to be suspended; and
- Terrelle Pryor is out of his walking boot.
