The Jets dropped a Ficken bomb on the Dolphins
With a depleted line-up, the Jets played bend-but-not break all day, holding the Dolphins to seven field goals. Sam Darnold led a game-winning drive over the last two minutes, keyed by a 37-yard Vyncint Smith catch-and-run and a controversial pass interference call. Sam Ficken's 44-yard field goal as time expired gave the Jets the 22-21 win.
Robby Anderson led the way on offense with another 100-yard game, including a first half touchdown, while Bilal Powell's 74 rushing yards were the most by a Jet all season. On defense, James Burgess had 13 tackles, Jordan Jenkins had two more sacks and Nate Hairston intercepted a pass.
This calls for a celebration!
Take it away, bedazzled Calvin Pace...
