Roster News: Zach Wilson signs rookie contract

As expected, the Jets and their rookie quarterback met in the middle and finally came to an agreement on his rookie deal.

It’s done: The #Jets and first-round rookie Zach Wilson have agreed to terms, source said. He gets his signing bonus within 15 days, NYJ gets its offset.

Wilson, the last of this year's NFL rookies to sign, will presumably be on the practice field tomorrow to take first team reps.

According to NFLPA records, the Jets were $22.1m under the cap before this move, so they should be about $16.6m under the cap once it is processed.
