Roster News: Stringfellow added to practice squad, replacing Beltre
The Jets have announced another practice squad transaction:

We suspected the plan might be for Stringfellow to be shifted onto the practice squad after a few days from the moment he was claimed. If he does well on the scout team then he'll be a candidate to be added to the active roster later in the year, perhaps once the Jets fall out of playoff contention.
Beltre's place on the scout team was perhaps redundant from the moment Freddie Bishop cleared waivers and was also added to the practice squad, so he seemed a logical release. He could be back at some point, having had an impressive camp until he got hurt and flashed on special teams following his return.
