Roster News: Jets trade WR Williams to Pittsburgh

This seemed inevitable for about the past month:

For whatever reason, Williams never seemed to click with Aaron Rodgers and then became surplus to requirements after the Davante Adams trade. The Jets apparently get a fifth round draft pick in the deal.

With Allen Lazard on injured reserve the Jets will hope for more contributions from Xavier Gipson or Malachi Corley over the next few weeks.
