Roster News: Jets trade Jacob Martin to Denver

There have been a number of trades today, with the deadline still a few hours away, but the Jets have just relieved the logjam at defensive end with a mid-round pick swap:

The #Broncos are trading for #Jets pass-rusher Jacob Martin, source said, one of several players expected to fill the void left by Bradley Chubb. Denver is giving up a 4th round pick in 2024 in exchange for a 2024 5th.

The Jets will save a small amount of money by making this deal, which paves the way for rookie Jermaine Johnson to get back onto the active roster and into the pass rush rotation.
