Roster News: Jets to sign S Redwine
The Jets are making their third defensive addition of the day:
Jets are signing former Browns 4th-round pick, safety Sheldrick Redwine, to their active roster, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus.

Redwine started eight games in his first two seasons with the Browns having been a fourth round pick, so he should provide the Jets with adequate safety depth, especially with Lamarcus Joyner and Ashtyn Davis making their way back from injury.
The Chris Herndon trade and Blessuan Austin release will be processed today so the Jets will need to make at least one more corresponding move. However, don't be surprised if there's more moves to come, even if it's just players going onto injured reserve and cuts from yesterday being re-signed. The practice squad will be formed today too.
Stick around for more updates.
