Roster News: Jets to sign QB Boyle
It's the moment you've all been waiting for. The Jets have added a former Packers quarterback!
The #Jets are signing veteran QB Tim Boyle to a one-year deal, source says. He reunites with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who was his OC with the #Packers.

And that means someday between now and the end of time, he’ll reunite with this guy, too… pic.twitter.com/hIt0ddPNuU
Boyle started three games for the Lions in 2021 but otherwise has only thrown 12 passes in a four-year career. He completed 65 percent of his passes with the Lions but had six interceptions and only three touchdowns. He passed for a career-high 262 yards and two scores in a 51-29 loss to Seattle but completed less than 60 percent of his passes and had three interceptions.
He will presumably compete with Zach Wilson for the number two role.
