Roster News: Jets to release Adrian Amos
The Jets will announce their roster moves for tomorrow in a few hours. Here's apparently one of them:

Amos was expected to start when the Jets signed him shortly after Chuck Clark's season-ending injury in the offseason. However, Tony Adams beat him out for a starting role and Ashtyn Davis has also moved ahead of him in the rotation.
The Jets will need to free up some roster spots for the likes of Justin Hardee and perhaps Wes Schweitzer, so this enables them to do that without giving up someone who was likely to be back next year. Amos could now contribute for a contender down the stretch while the Jets have Jarrick Bernard-Converse available to fill in if needed.
