Roster News: Jets to re-sign DT Shepherd

Having lost Folorunso Fatukasi to the Jaguars, the Jets have made a necessary move to shore up their defensive line depth:

Shepherd was poor in the first half of last season but improved down the stretch as he seemed to get to grips with the system. He had a career-high 28 tackles and tied his career high with eight quarterback hits.
