Roster News: Jets to add two linebackers
The Jets appear set to make a couple of additions ahead of this week's joint practices:
Two clients. Same position. Same agent. Signed on the same day to the same team. Congratulations to @GSEworldwide @gsefootball clients Nick Vigil and Sam Eguavoen (@Slugggaaa) on signing with @nyjets

Hamsah Nasirildeen was knocked out on the second play of Thursday night's game and Chazz Surratt left the game with a hamstring injury so this may just be a case of bringing in some short term depth to give them some options to pair with Jamien Sherwood on the second unit other than the four rookies.
The 29-year old Vigil has started 37 games, including two last year. He had 111 tackles in a full-time role in 2019. Eguavoen, who is 30, has only started one game since his rookie year in 2019 when he made six starts. However, he's been a rotational backup and special teams contributor and hasn't missed a game in his four seasons.
We'll break these guys down in detail in the next week or so.
