Roster News: Jets to activate Freddie Bishop
The Jets had an open roster spot after Claude Pelon's release yesterday and, according to Rich Cimini on twitter, it looks like they will fill it by bringing linebacker Freddie Bishop back to the active roster.
The Jets currently have just two healthy tight ends - Neal Sterling and Will Tye - but Todd Bowles has indicated they'll be able to scheme around any deficiency there. Bishop should at least bolster a special teams unit that will be a few men down, with one being fellow linebacker Edmond Robinson, who has been ruled out with a groin issue.
