The 6'2" Doctson was a first round pick back in 2016 but failed to live up to the hype. Doctson had posted outstanding numbers at the 2016 scouting combine but Achilles issues in his rookie year sidelined him for most of the season and perhaps limited him athletically over the next few years.
Having barely played as a rookie, Doctson caught 35 passes including a career-high six touchdowns in his second season and 44 catches for 532 yards and two scores in 2018. However, he was released in final cuts by Washington last season and ended up playing just one game with the Vikings.
