Roster News: Jets sign T Kirven to practice squad

The Jets made a minor move today:

The 23-year old Kirven is 6'5" and 315 pounds and is an undrafted rookie out of Alabama. He was recently released from the Browns' practice squad after having spent camp and preseason with the Bucs.

Kirven started at right guard for the Crimson Tide over the second half of last year, having been a back-up tackle over the previous few seasons. He played right tackle for the Bucs in preseason.

Conque, a converted quarterback, was with the team for just three weeks.
