Roster News: Jets sign nine to futures contracts

The Jets have announced that they have signed nine players, including the eight who were on their practice squad, to futures deals.

The Jets have signed LB Ahmad Gooden, WR Keon Hatcher, DE Bronson Kaufusi, OL Corbin Kaufusi, OL Brad Lundblade, OL James Murray, LB Wyatt Ray, QB Mike White and P Ian Berryman to reserve/future contracts.

A team can sign any player to a futures deal that was not on a roster at the end of the season. That player will then be under contract and on the 90-man roster from the beginning of the next league year.

We'll be reviewing these players in depth (apart from Bronson Kaufusi, who we already covered here) between now and the start of free agency.
