Roster News: Jets sign LB Phillips

Another minor move from the Jets:

The 24-year old Phillips was undrafted out of Illinois in 2019 and has some potential, but not much experience. He played in his first two NFL games with the Bills last season, seeing action briefly on special teams.

Phillips, who is 225 with a wingspan of over 80 inches, had a quality performance at his pro day, running a 4.61 in the 40-yard dash and posting a 37-inch vertical and 20 bench press reps.
