Upshaw, who is now 28, was the 35th overall pick in the 2012 draft and won a Super Bowl ring as a rookie. At the time, he was a versatile edge defender who had recorded 9.5 sacks in his senior year in college.
However, he's failed to make much of an impact in that role at the pro level, with just seven sacks in six years. He's since been converted into more of an undersized interior lineman.
Upshaw started 51 games in four year with the Ravens, but only five in the past two seasons as an Atlanta Falcon, none of which came in 2017. He had a career low nine tackles and one sack last year.
Nevertheless, he must have impressed in camp to earn a shot, so we'll be taking a more in-depth look at what he has to offer over the weekend.
