Roster News: Jets to sign CFL defensive back Kacy Rodgers II
Here -via his agents - is news of another move from the Jets:
Excited to announce #TeamDEC client and former @CanesFootball @sskroughriders player @RodgerThat22 will be signing with @nyjets and be coached by his father defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers
— DEC Management (@davidcanter) February 8, 2018
Rodgers, who is 25, played in college for Miami but went undrafted in 2014. Over the past two years with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders, Rodgers racked up 74 tackles, an interception and a sack in 25 games. He has never been signed to an NFL roster.
He is, obviously, the son of Jets' defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers.
We'll have an in-depth scouting report on Rodgers in due course...
