Roster News: Jets sign Braden, Bordelon following mini-camp
The Jets have confirmed, via their official twitter account that they signed two players following this week's rookie mini-camp.
Ben Braden is a two-year starter out of Michigan, although he has struggled as a run blocker over the past few years. He attended the scouting combine where he posted some pretty good numbers:
Chris Bordelon is 6'5" and 315 and started all 12 games at left tackle last season for Nicholls State on an offense that was dramatically improved. He had sat out the 2015 season with a shoulder injury.
We'll share in-depth analysis of Braden and Bordelon once we've broken down the rest of the rookies signed or drafted last week.
The Jets cut CB John Ojo yesterday and OL Donald Hawkins and LS Zach Triner today to make room on the roster. Triner was at rookie camp, but Hawkins, who is in his third season, was not.
