Roster News: Jets reportedly signing CB Hunter to practice squad
Here's a reported move the Jets are about to make:
Former Giants CB Michael Hunter will sign with the Jets practice squad, per source. Hunter was waived/injured by the Giants on Oct. 17.

The Jets need to make a move before Sunday because they only have three healthy receivers and two healthy running backs (one of whom is also the primary return man). It seems most likely they'll at least activate one of the receivers currently on the practice squad with Jalin Marshall probably the most likely candidate.
The Jets don't actually have a space available on their practice squad right now, but the Hunter report ties in with our expectation that this is where they'll get some reinforcements from.
Hunter is a second year player with 4.4 speed. He played in six games with the Giants over the past season and a half, recording four tackles.
We'll update you as and when more moves are announced.
