Roster News: Jets replace kicker, add Hector to active roster

The Jets made a few moves:

We have signed DL Bruce Hector to the active roster.

We have also released K Riley Patterson from the active roster and signed K Anders Carlson to the practice squad.

So, the Jets will apparently have another kicker on Sunday...unless the plan is to sign Patterson back to the practice squad and elevate him. Spencer Shrader is already on the practice squad.

The Hector move is necessary in case Solomon Thomas is kept out of Sunday's game by his knee injury.
