Roster News: Jets release White

The Jets made a predictable roster move:

White served as the number two quarterback last night, the seventh time he's been on the active gameday roster this season but not played in the game.

This frees up a roster spot to potentially activate Patrick Onwuasor from injured reserve after the bye week. White will probably revert to the practice squad, assuming he clears waivers.
