Roster News: Jets release RB Travaris Cadet

Now that the Jets are healthy at the running back position, they've released the guy they brought in as cover:

Jets released veteran RB/returner Travaris Cadet, who does not have to go through waivers and is now free to sign with another team.

Cadet's Jets tenure will probably be best remembered for him being wide open on the last offensive play of the Pats loss on which Josh McCown failed to see him.

Xavier Coleman left Sunday's game with a shoulder injury so the Jets may need to sign or activate a defensive back with the corresponding move.
