Roster News: Jets release Nick Truesdell

The Jets have confirmed that the Alex Lewis trade, which was contingent on him passing a physical, is now final. They also confirmed the corresponding move:

Truesdell was the AAF tight end the Jets picked up on Sunday. He practiced just twice with the team. This means the Jets are back to having just five tight ends on the roster, including Chris Herndon who will start the season on the suspended list.
