Roster News: Jets release McKinley

The Jets have made their final roster tweaks ahead of Sunday's game.

We have made the following moves:

◼️ Activated DL Haason Reddick to the active roster
◼️ Elevated OL Alec Lindstrom from the practice squad
◼️ Elevated DB Jarius Monroe from the practice squad
◼️ Released DL Takk McKinley from the active roster

The Mckinley release is not that surprising because he made virtually no impact since preseason. It could mean the Jets intend to continue to use Solomon Thomas on the edge, even with Leki Fotu hurt again.

Lindstrom and Monroe provide necessary injury cover but the Jets will hope not to have to use either in a key role.
