Roster News: Jets release K Ammendola

After recently adding Greg Zuerlein, this was to be expected:

The Jets also opted to give Eddy Pineiro a new one-year deal rather than playing out the 2022 season on his RFA tender, setting up a competition between Pineiro and Zuerlein with a practice squad spot going to the loser. Zuerlein apparently has a $1 million guarantee in his deal so Pineiro may have something similar.
