Roster News: Jets release DT Smart

Once again, the Jets have made this move:

Smart will probably be back in the lineup on Friday, unless the team is ready to give Perrion Winfrey or Marquiss Spencer a shot. The Jets will use the open roster spot to sign Trevor Siemian to the 53-man roster. Siemian will back up Tim Boyle against Miami with Zach Wilson to be active as the number three according to Robert Saleh.
