Roster News: Jets release CB Hayes

The Jets have made an unsurprising roster move:

Jets released DB Tae Hayes, who was arrested this weekend by the Trinity Police Department in Morgan County, AL. for marijuana possession.

Hayes is best known for having been elevated to the roster for the Eagles win last year, where he played a role with both DJ Reed and Sauce Gardner out.

His release isn't surprising in light of the arrest but the Jets aren't exactly overloaded with experienced cornerbacks right now so this could be an opportunity for rookies like Qwan'tez Stiggers, Brandon Codrington, Shemar Bartholomew and Myles Jones.
