Roster News: Jets re-sign Montgomery, release Adams

The Jets have made a minor move at the wide receiver position with on-field organized team activities getting underway today:

We've signed WR DJ Montgomery and waived WR Rodney Adams.

Adams, who spent 2021 with the Bears, joined the Jets at the end of the season on a futures deal. The 27-year old has only played in one game in his NFL career.

Montgomery was released a few weeks ago having made his NFL debut last season with the Jets. He caught three passes for 36 yards in three appearances, including two first downs.
