Roster News: Jets re-sign McGovern

The Jets have brought back a key starter!

The Jets allowed McGovern to test the market but, perhaps surprisingly, there wasn't much interest in him so he has now opted to return to the Jets on a what will presumably be a low-cost deal.

What this means in terms of the Jets' reported pursuit of veteran Ben Jones and some of the top rookie centers remains to be seen.

Prior to this signing, Wes Schweitzer or Trystan Colon would have been the number one center if you drew up an unofficial depth chart, so it's an encouraging addition in terms of having someone who is a proven long-term option at that spot.
