Roster News: Jets re-sign Brownlee to practice squad, release McCutcheon

The Jets made the expected personnel move today:

We have signed Jason Brownlee to the practice squad and released WR Lance McCutcheon from the practice squad.

The Jets will be pleased that Brownlee cleared waivers and is able to remain within the organization because he showed some promise in camp despite not doing much in preseason. He could yet see some action this season if there are injuries and might be able to compete for a role next season if Mike Williams and/or Allen Lazard are no longer with the organization.
