The Jets have made a few more roster moves.
We have released WR Quincy Enunwa and placed LB CJ Mosley on the Reserve/Opt Out list.

Additionally, we have waived OL Ben Braden, RB Trenton Cannon and OLB Wyatt Ray.

The release of Enunwa, who was already placed on season-ending PUP and will receive his full salary for the year, is basically a procedural move because there was little chance he was going to get a chance to return in 2021 with no remaining guarantees.
Apparently, the release of the former sixth-rounder Cannon is also injury related. He had developed into a great special teamer before injuring his foot last year.
Braden had been with the team for a few years, but never really established himself as a potential contributor. Ray, a futures signing, was always a long-shot.
As things stand, the Jets are one above the pending 80-man roster limit ahead of the deadline coming up in a few weeks, although if any of the players on the Covid-19 list are reactivated, that will increase the number of roster moves they'll need to make to get to 80.
