Roster News: Jets make another practice squad move

The Jets announced another minor move today, having earlier re-signed Lucky Whitehead to the practice squad:

Much like Jason Vander Laan, who was with the Jets over the past couple of years, Conque was a quarterback in college who converted to tight end to try and get into the NFL. He was with the Texans as an undrafted rookie but got injured in camp and was released with an injury settlement before preseason.

Conque is 6'5" and posted outstanding athletic numbers at his pro day, including a sub-4.6 40-yard dash, a 36.5" vertical and a 6.86 three-cone drill.
