Roster News: Jets elevate Shrader to active roster

The Jets have announced their roster moves move ahead of Sunday's game:

We have elevated K Spencer Shrader from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

There's no surprise here because the Jets already announced that Shrader would kick on Sunday. Much like Riley Patterson, who he is replacing, Shrader was 3-for-3 on PATs but didn't attempt a field goal in his only appearance of the season.

In addition, they confirmed that Solomon Thomas has been downgraded to out on Sunday, which assures that Bruce Hector (who was already signed to the 53-man roster earlier this week) will be active.
