Roster News: Jets elevate Monroe and Hector

The Jets have announced their pre-game roster moves for the Rams game:

We have elevated S Jarius Monroe and DL Bruce Hector for Sunday’s game against the Rams.

Leki Fotu not being activated at this stage could perhaps be a sign that the Jets are confident Quinnen Williams will play on Sunday despite not practicing all week. He is going to be a gametime decision, though, and Hector coming up gives them temporary cover.

Monroe can fill in on special teams and provide cover with the Jets a man down at safety due to Jalen Mills' injury. In addition, this enables Isaiah Oliver to focus on filling in for Deuce Carter in the slot with Carter already ruled out.
