Roster News: Jets cut four
The Jets announced four cuts this evening:
Jets waive four players and are now down to 16 wideouts. RB Jeremy Langford, QB Joel Stave, RB Jahad Thomas and WR Daniel Williams.

As of this morning, the Jets had 88 players under contract according to the NFLPA database. We believe still this includes Matt Forté and Freddie Bishop, who some of the Jets beat writers are not accounting for in their roster count. This should therefore take the Jets down to 84, leaving them with just enough room to fit in their six draft picks.
Of course, in practice the Jets might end up with more or less than six pick and will of course sign some undrafted free agents, so you can expect more moves to follow in due course.
Of the four players cut, Thomas was the only one to make it onto the 53 during regular season action, but was not active for a game.
