Roster News: Jets cut Bryce Petty

Even before the Jets drafted Darnold, Petty's release was inevitable. His only win in seven starts was a come from behind overtime win against one of the league's worst teams in San Francisco and the Jets no longer have the time or the reps to continue developing him.

You can probably expect this to be announced along with a handful of other cuts, as the Jets will clear some space to finalize their UDFA signings before rookie camp.
