Roster News: Jets claim Moore, release Saltes
With some recent injuries on the offensive line, the Jets have brought another rookie prospect on board.
The Jets have been awarded G David Moore off of waivers from the Panthers. He was amongst the coveted undrafted free agents this year.

Moore weighed in at 350 pounds at the senior bowl and was voted as the practice player of the week by his teammates, although he struggled in the game itself. He was down to 330 by the time he worked out at his pro day, posting impressive results for speed, explosiveness and strength.
Having been released from the Panthers already despite the fact they don't have much in the way of offensive line talent, it seems unlikely Moore will contribute with the Jets this year. However, if they see potential and a possible scheme fit in him, then they may view him as a longer-term project who is perhaps worth stashing on the active roster.
Cameron Clark's neck injury and Alex Lewis' exempt status created the need for this move. Undrafted rookie Teton Saltes is also injured having limped off with a knee injury last week.
UPDATE: Saltes was the corresponding cut. He was waived/injured so will revert to injured reserve when he clears waviers.
