Roster News: Jets claim Davis, release Carlson, put Clark on IR

The Jets made more moves in addition to the Mathis claim reported earlier:

- Placed S Chuck Clark on IR. (Wasn't mentioned by Ulbrich this morning)



- Waived K Anders Carlson.



- Claimed LB Jamin Davis off waivers from Vikings



- Claimed DT Phidarian Mathis off waivers from Commanders

Davis was a first round pick back in 2021 and converted from off ball linebacker to edge this season but struggled to make an impact. In four years, Davis has started 36 games and racked up 287 tackles and eight sacks.

Carlson lost his job to the returning Greg Zuerlein on Sunday while yet another injury from Clark ends a disappointing year from him.
