Roster News: Jets add Perine, Dawkins, Sheldon and Finch to active roster
The Jets have confirmed their roster moves for this week:
We've activated RB La'Mical Perine off IR.

We've also elevated LB Brady Sheldon, LB Sharif Finch and LB Noah Dawkins to the active roster.
Perine has been practicing for the last few weeks and is obviously ready again for main roster action. It will be interesting to see if he takes snaps away from Frank Gore or from Ty Johnson and Josh Adams.
With Harvey Langi out for the season, the Jets need extra bodies at inside linebacker so it's all hands on deck this week. Unless they're intending to try someone out of position, the Jets will have to start someone with no defensive snaps this season alongside Neville Hewitt on Sunday - presumably Bryce Hager or one of the players being added to the roster today.
Dawkins has already been elevated for the maximum of two games as a temporary roster addition but he can still be added as a Covid-19 replacement like he was last week with Ryan Griffin still on Covid-19 reserve right now.
It's will be the first time Sheldon has been on the active roster this season, whereas Finch - who is more of an edge defender - was also activated and played on special teams last week.
Cleveland's flight has actually been delayed while they conduct contact tracing following a positive Covid-19 test, so it's not impossible Sunday's game could be delayed. If so, that might mean that Griffin is able to be activated after all.
