Roster News: Jets add Monroe to active roster, sign Cline to practice squad

We already knew about the Fashanu and Joseph moves here, but the Jets confirmed a few other roster moves:

The undrafted rookie Monroe, who got a big shout-out from Aaron Rodgers during media availability yesterday, has been active three times this season as a backup safety.

The 26-year old Cline was undrafted out of South Dakota back in 2020 and has played in just six games in his NFL career, having previously spent time with the Bills and Colts. He has recorded three tackles. Cline, who has nice size at 6'4" and 283 pounds, recorded three sacks in the past four preseason campaigns.

Johnson's second stint with the Jets last even less time than his first, when he was with the team in preseason.
