Roster News: Jets add Mills to practice squad
The Jets have filled the spot that opened up on Thursday when the Jets signed Jalyn Holmes to the active roster to replace Jermaine Johnson:
Former Patriots and Eagles DB Jalen Mills is signing with the Jets practice squad, per source. The 30-year-old Mills has 406 tackles in the NFL, and spent training camp with the Giants. Now he goes to the Jets. pic.twitter.com/gKRNBCN0iE

Mills has never been elite but he has won a Super Bowl ring, started 83 career games and played both as a cornerback and a safety.
