Roster News: Jets activate WR/KR Jojo Natson
The Jets confirmed yesterday's report about signing Michael Hunter to the practice squad and that they're activating a wide receiver. However, it's perhaps not the wide receiver we expected:

Natson, a rookie, is only 5'7" but has excellent speed and quickness. He had a productive preseason with the Colts and figures to provide cover at wide receiver and on returns. We'll have a full scouting report on Natson in due course.
It's interesting that the Jets opted to activate him ahead of Jalin Marshall. Hopefully that says more about the kind of progress Natson has made on the scout team than how much Marshall has regressed since being a regular rotation player as a rookie.
Stinson being waived/injured means they can't re-sign him in the short term. Since his neck injury happened before the first time they released him, this is a bit of an odd situation all round. As noted yesterday, the Jets should be fine on the defensive line because they have Xavier Cooper and Mike Pennel on the bench and Lawrence Thomas available in an emergency.
