Roster News: Jets activate Jarrad Davis, make other moves
As anticipated, the Jets made a few roster tweaks ahead of Sunday's game:
Roster moves:

We’ve activated LB Jarrad Davis and signed LB Noah Dawkins to the active roster.
We’ve released S Jarrod Wilson.
We’ve elevated QB Josh Johnson and DE Jabari Zuniga from the practice squad.

The team already had a roster spot open after putting two linebackers on injured reserve during the week. However, they were always going to add Johnson to the 53 via a practice squad elevation because that will allow him to return to the practice squad on Monday.
The Jets needed further reinforcements at linebacker with Jamien Sherwood and Blake Cashman having been added to injured reserve, so the addition of Dawkins makes sense even with Davis and CJ Mosley back. Similarly Zuniga gets a shot with Bryce Huff ruled out.
One move the team didn't make was putting Zach Wilson on injured reserve, which suggests that they believe he'll be back after the Colts game...or that he won't be back within four games so they can afford to delay this until next week.
