Roster News: Firkser, Sheffield and Mills added to the roster for Sunday

The Jets have made their moves:

We have signed TE Anthony Firkser to the active roster and TE Brenden Bates has been signed to the practice squad.



CB Kendall Sheffield and S Jalen Mills have been elevated for Sunday's game.

Mills ended up as the third safety last week after Chuck Clark got hurt so obviously he was going to be back with Clark now on IR.

Sheffield gives the Jets cover in the secondary and special teams abilities whether or not DJ Reed (a gametime decision) is available.

Clearly Firkser has jumped Bates but the Jets aren't giving up on the rookie altogether having cut him this week.
