Roster News: Brandin Echols suspended for the season opener

The Jets will be without at least one player for the first game of the 2023 season:

Echols did a good job as a primary gunner last season but didn't play much on defense, although he is capable of contributing as a nickel, dime or boundary corner.

Ironically, this could actually help with the roster crunch in final cuts. Echols being on the suspended list for a week could free up a spot for someone who could later be stashed on injured reserve or something.
