Roster News: Jets add Nasirildeen, Smart and Parks to active roster
The Jets have made their roster moves ahead of Sunday's game:
We’ve signed LB Hamsah Nasirildeen to the active roster and signed S Will Parks to the practice squad.

Parks and DL Tanzel Smart have been elevated for tomorrow’s game.

Nasirildeen is out of standard elevations and with Chazz Surratt and Marcell Harris both still injured, he needed to be placed on the 53 to be eligible for Sunday and the Jets need a fifth linebacker with only four previously on the roster.
Parks' return was no surprise. The Jets added Lamarcus Joyner to the injury report with a hip injury and listed him as questionable today so Parks' return became even more important. Ashtyn Davis would probably start if Joyner can't play.
Smart is elevated for the third time, so they'll need to sign him to the 53 as well if he's to play again this year. Hopefully the fact they've elevated him as cover for Quinnen Williams doesn't mean that Williams (who is listed as questionable) has been ruled out.
The possibility of elevating Chris Streveler with Mike White out had to have been considered but is impossible with two other elevations taking place.
